Baker Windsurf Academy has secured Predator waterproof action cams as a new sponsor; the cameras will be worn by all coaches during training sessions as well as practice sessions. Ant will also 3 times a week upload a small clip of action sports undertaken; these will include Martial Arts (Cage Fighting), Golf, Tennis, Kitesurfing, Windsurfing and paddle boarding.
Here at B.W.A we are very excited about this product and are looking forward to the help in the learning arena from the cameras. For more information on Predator waterproof action cams visit www.predatorworld.co.uk
Baker Windsurf Academy's newest students are none other than Peter Andre and his brother Mike. Pete and Mike really liked their first taster session at Hove Lagoon and are keen to carry on. The BWA is giving regular lessons to Pete and Mike over the coming months so watch this space. Were sure it won't be long before you'll see the Andres ripping it up along our south coast beaches.

Shot a few weeks back at Rutland Water during a Slalom Windsurfing Clinic. Thanks to Charlie at Liquid Films for shooting and producing it and webcast-tv.com for hosting it.
We guys I had a super time down at Wales last weekend. Great to see some regular faces and some new ones too. I hope you were all able to take something away from it to progress your own sailing to the next level.
A great turn out for the first night of slalom racing in our series on Monday. Myself, Nik and Jamie Hawkins were there along with about 15 other sailors. In fact the beach was packed with kiters (down wind), surfers (on the point), swimmers (even in bikinis!) and those enjoying a cup of coffee at the café.
The first event will kick off today Monday 27th of July at 5pm and Worthing Sea Lane Cafe! Forecast is a force 4 south westerly once the rain clears. Don't worry if you miss the first race you can turn up any time.
Hi Guys, I've got a quick video to share with you. Filmed earlier this year at my local break Point Ferring (well the end of my road really!)
Thanks to Charlie over at Liquid Films for shooting and producing it. I hope to get some more instructional based videos out soon but for now enjoy a little inspiration. If you have the will I have the way with The Path, The Destination and The Journey coaching methodology breaking down each move to simple to digest and easily repeatable steps, enjoy!
I now have dates and prices for my Maui (leaving on the 14th of November for 12 nights) and Crete (leaving on the 22nd of September for 7 nights) trips, check them out. Book early to avoid disappointment as spaces are going quick. On all my trips I am your guide, compadre and windsurf coach. We will have a blast and some of the best sails of your life. My daily coaching will ensure you end the trip sailing better than you ever have before.
Made the journey over to South Wales again based on a good forecast and I wasn't let down. After meeting Iain for his full day 1-2-1 at Jim's shop, Pura Vida we headed down to the Knap. We rigged and went out only to find that the tide was rushing downwind.......!@#$
For those of you looking to book a summer windsurfing holiday I am getting close to finalising dates for my overseas clinics. I'm going to run the clinics in association with the helpful chaps at Sportif International.
Situated on the west coast of Wales in proper Boy'o country, Aberdovey is a great place to take the wife and kids.......! Not a great weekend for wind but hey we had fun.
With the help of Kelvin and Jimbo from Pura Vida Boardriders I managed to get a no wind clinic organised on the sunny southern shores of Barry Knapp, South Wales. I was super excited to go to Wales as I had heard only good things.
Thanks to everyone that made it down to the clinic in Worthing last weekend. Dave White showed up and took some great photos (congratulations on your new job with Boards Magazine). Nik was also around running a Fanatic and North Sails demo with the guys from Worthing Water Sports.
After 18 consecutive days on the water I was looking forward to some sun, and sun we had, Nik, Mat and me had never been to Axbridge before so we were pretty excited about a new location, so when we arrived we rigged 12 sails and got the 16 boards out of the car, the plan was demo Saturday and Sunday for Nik and clinics for me and mat on Sunday, the boys from Windy World did a great job and booked over 60 people for the Sunday Beginner and Advanced clinics.
After 4 planes, 3 trains, 6 buses and directions from someone named Rhioganedd we arrived in sunny Rhosneigr at 8pm on Friday, we were greeted by Bucky from Funsport’s and a beautiful view of the bay as well as dead calm conditions, so we parked the vans and found some grub and hit the hay as the next day looked like there could be some wind……!
I would like to thank David Tuttlebee and Dave White for organising a great event over at Hayling Island on the 7th of May. We had some great fun racing and sailing with everyone that turned out to support such a great cause. It was grate to see you down the beach David. More info on the event can be found at www.sunrisesunset.ws
Last weekend was a hugely successful demo weekend up in the north of England at Bridlington, the boy at Robin Hood made the weekend great, we also have wind all weekend so everyone who came got the chance to spend some time with Mat, Nik and me as well as to try the new Fanatic, Mistral and North-Sails, we got to speak to some really cool guys that are keen on improving their windsurfing, great weekend everyone hope to come up there again soon!!
