Baker Windsurf Academy Rating

As and when windsurfers sail in a clinic or on a 1-2-1 course they will receive a B.W.A Rating. Ratings will be from 10 (Beginner) down to 0 (Expert) in accordance with Baker Windsurf Academy guidelines.

B.W.A.R (Baker Windsurf Academy Rating):

The B.W.A.R is a measure of standard like a golf handicap and allows windsurfers to know their standard and allows them the opportunity to see the next level which makes progression easy to see.

Benefits for windsurfers:

Having a B.W.A.R helps windsurfers know which group coaching sessions to attend and assists the Academy in assigning advice and training drills when at clinics or by email.

How you can get an official B.W.A.R:

Your B.W.A.R will be given to you by the coaching team at Baker Windsurf Academy after your first training session.

How can I improve my B.W.A.R?

Simple…. Time on the water working on your current level and once all is being done in accordance with the rating system then a simple 15 mins with an Academy instructor and your B.W.A.R can be upgraded.

If you need more information please speak to Ant Baker (Head Coach)
